FAQ

1. Do you travel?
yes, please! I am passport-ed and ready to go! I do not charge for in-state travel, but I may request a hotel room if it is a late/early wedding that's a few hours away. 

2. What's the scoop on newborns? 
I am a baby whisperer! I photograph them a little non-traditionally, and I recommend scheduling the shoot before they are 10 days old. Check out the newborn tab for examples. I typically decide when I get there what shots we can get- depending on what all you guys have and what the light looks like. That's my favorite part! Every family and baby is so different, and it comes through in the photos. That being said, if you have some "must have" shots, we can definitely do those! It's all pretty easy and very fun! 

3. What do I wear?
Wear what you feel comfortable in! If you feel good about your outfit, that will come through in your photos. For family photos, I usually say "coordinating but not matchy," but hey- these are your photos! If you want to match, then please do! 

4. Do you have a studio?
I do not. I am primarily an on location photographer. 

5. What is your wedding booking policy?
Your date is reserved with a contract and a 20% deposit. After that, you're good to go! Wedding dates are first come, first serve. Dates will not be held unless both items are delivered. 

6. Can you shoot my charity event?
I used to shoot these all the time, and I still do when I am available. Don't be afraid to ask! 

7. I'm nervous! I've never been in front of a professional camera!
Do not fret! No one has! (with the exception of a few in the 'individuals' and 'commercial' tabs) There are ZERO models in my portfolio. These are not styled shoots, these are real people, real weddings, real family photos. We work together, we laugh together, it turns out wonderful!
